Welcome to Blogmas Day 8 and a Tale of Christmas Past.
Being a real lover of Christmas, I love looking back on Christmases gone by…
There are some memories I don’t have pictures of. Like having Christmas in the garage every year because my mum invited so many people that we didn’t fit in the house!
But I’ve decided to share with you some of the photos that I do have from my favourite Christmas memories.
A Festive Day at the Markets
I’ve been going to the Manchester Christmas Markets since I was a little girl and can never get over how pretty and festive they are.
One year, I went Christmas shopping with my bestie Rachael. We have both improved fashion and hair choices since then… Although I think I look the worst!
It happened to be the same day that my Mum and Grandma went shopping and we met up for lunch in Chiquito and then strolled around the markets together! I think that’s when Rachael was pretty much adopted by my family!
To say it was a day full of laughs and festive cuteness is an understatement. This is probably the first thing I think of when I think of Christmas past!
The Most Christmassy Visit to London
My Mum had to go to London for work a lot last year and so we decided to take advantage of it.
I had started uni in the September and Mum and I decided that the best way to meet up was to make a trip of it and see the festive lights in London!
It was the perfect little trip because we were so excited – it was the first time we’d seen each other since I moved away and it was so festive!
But the thing that made the trip was our visit to Harrods.
You can literally see on our faces how excited we were to see what was inside. It was AMAZING.
It had been on my Bucket List to go for a few years and when I was finally able to, the fact that it was Christmas made it an extra special trip for Mum and I.
So that’s everything for today’s post, I really hope you enjoyed it! I’ve seen a few people writing these Christmas Past posts so I thought I’d join in.
If you did enjoy this post, remember to give it a like, leave a comment and follow my blog to keep up with BLOGMAS!
