Welcome to #Blogmas Day 2!
Today I decided it was time to show you all my secret. My biggest secret.
I’m going to tell you the secret of how to make everyone’s favourite festive drink: a Starbucks Chai Latte.
In this post I’m going to show you my AMAZING hack. I have discovered how to create my own Starbuck’s Chai Latte without all the fancy spices and a ton of sugar. It’s exciting.
You Will Need:
- Your Favourite Mug
- A Chai teabag
- Some Almond Milk
- A tsp of Honey
Step 1: Make your Tea
First of all, you need to boil your kettle and make your tea how you like it. I enjoy a strong Chai tea so I leave my teabag in the water for about 2 minutes.
Fill your mug about a quarter of the way up with your boiling water, leaving the teabag in for as long as you like.
I like to use M&S’s ‘Spiced Chai’ teabags (which George gets me on his discount!!) but you can use your prefered tea, obviously. Here, I’m actually using the Chai tea from T2 as I’d run out but this one is also gorgeous!
Step 2: Fill the rest of your Mug with Almond Milk
This step is really simple. All you have to do is fill the rest of your mug with Almond Milk and stir it it into the tea. It’s the milk that makes this a latte!
Of course, you can use normal milk but given my Plant Based diet, I always opt for Almond.
Step 3: Add a tsp of Honey
As you know, I’m not opposed to using honey. This is due George’s beekeeping experience and his explaining the process to me. If done correctly, it is not at all cruel.
The I’m using here is from George’s own hive! How cool is that?!
So, I add a heaped teaspoon of honey to my latte. Stir it thoroughly and there you have it:
The perfect Chai Latte!
That’s it for today’s post! I hope you enjoyed it and are looking forward to the rest of #blogmas! Only 23 more to go!
